SaddleBrooke Winds and Strings (SBWS) will present a Spooktacular Halloween Concert at DesertView Performing Arts Center in SaddleBrooke on Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. Selections include “Night on Bald Mountain,” “Hall of the Mountain King,” “Music for a Darkened Theatre,” “The Skeleton Crawl,” “The Cave You Fear,” and who knows what other spooky surprises our creative music director has in store for you!
SBWS is a no-audition ensemble and is especially looking for clarinet, trumpet, horn, trombone, and timpani players. So, dust off that instrument in the closet and come join us! We rehearse on Friday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. We usually rehearse at the MountainView ballroom at SaddleBrooke TWO and on occasion at Vista de la Montaña United Methodist Church in Catalina.
