There is still time to sign yourself and your grandchildren up for an exciting, fun-filled day of activities, sponsored by your Fitness, Wellness, and Recreation Committee of SaddleBrooke TWO. It is Grandchildren’s Day, Friday, Nov. 24.
As noted in our most recent article, the day will consist of four separate events. You and your grandchildren may participate in any or all of them, but you need to send an email to [email protected] by Wednesday, Nov. 22, letting the coordinators know the names and ages of participants for each activity chosen and if you need equipment. Parents are also encouraged to join in.
Here is the schedule:
1. Hiking: 8:15 to 10 a.m. Meet at the corner of South Border Drive and East Whispering Tree Lane (this is a new location).
2. Pickleball: 10:30 a.m. to noon. Meet at the pickleball courts. Children must be at least 7 years old.
3. Swimming: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Meet at the DesertView pool. Children can be of any age, but they must know how to swim.
4. Golf Putting Contest: 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. Meet at the MountainView putting green. Children must be at least 7 years old.
