Please mark your calendar before you leave for the summer for the Golden Goose Fashion Show on Monday, September 12 at 3:00 p.m. in the SaddleBrooke MountainView Ballroom. This very popular Fashion Show will kick off SaddleBrooke Community Outreach’s (SBCO) twentieth year. The models are Golden Goose volunteers and many of them may be your friends and neighbors. SBCO’s goal is to make it fun for everyone.
The Mission of SBCO is “Providing opportunities for kids to succeed.” Through this our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of needy children in neighboring communities through improved self-respect, better school attendance and higher scholastic achievement. One of our most successful programs is Kids’ Closet which provides approximately 3,000 wardrobes each year. Our mentoring and tutoring program helps to prepare children for high school and we are always looking for volunteers to help with this program. These are only a smidge of the work that SBCO’s volunteers do in our community.
Let’s give SBCO a great opening season and kick-off to our 20th Year and join us at the General Meeting and see a very special and unique fashion show. Last year Larry Clark appeared as Superman—who knows what or who he will be this year.
Again, save the date Monday, September 12 at 3:00 p.m. in the SaddleBrooke MountainView Ballroom. Have a great summer!
See you there!
