If you are looking for a special gift, an evening of dining and dancing is a lovely choice. There are a myriad of dance opportunities scheduled in SaddleBrooke for this winter and spring. They range from informal practice sessions to elegant dance galas. These are all sponsored by the SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club and the Let’s Dance Club. Dinner dances will be held on:
December 28, 2016: A buffet and dancing to the music of Steve’s Super Tunes.
January 28, 2017: The third annual Dance–A-Thon. Line Dance Club, Western Partners Dance Club, Latin Dance Club and ballroom dance clubs all participate in this fun and festive affair. Music will include selections for all types of dances.
February 11, 2017: The fifth annual Let’s Dance Club gala. This formal event includes a banquet style dinner and a mix of ballroom and rhythm dances.
March 25, 2017 and April 24, 2017: These dance parties are sponsored by the SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club and include a buffet and music by Steve’s Super Tunes.
Other gift ideas are dance lessons taught by the award winning professional dance team of Alan Daughenbaugh and Leslie Eisele. For five consecutive Sundays, beginning January 8, they will be teaching both beginning and intermediate lessons in American Tango. Beginning March 19 for three Sundays they will be teaching beginning and intermediate lessons in American Cha Cha.
All of the above events take place in the MountainView Ballroom and require advance registration.
Both clubs offer informal dance sessions on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons and Saturday mornings. These sessions are free and open to all SaddleBrooke residents. More information on all of these events is available at [email protected] and/or [email protected].
The two clubs have a combined membership fee of $10 per person per year. Membership gives you access to the activities of both clubs. New members are welcomed all during the year. Updated information is available on our Facebook page – Let’s Dance Club of SaddleBrooke.
