The Gardeners Exchange in conjunction with the SaddleBrooke/SaddleBrooke Ranch Master Gardeners welcomes you to “How Much and How Often-Easy to Understand Concepts of Using Drip Irrigation to Water Plants” with speaker Dr. Stephen Poe on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at La Hacienda Club at SaddleBrooke Ranch.
Dr. Poe is an Extension Agricultural Agent in the Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department at the University of Arizona. His extension efforts are in residential irrigation/water conservation and waste management. He assists in greenhouse applications of engineering technology which include teaching concepts and application of irrigation systems including fertigation and systems components.
This overview will introduce drip irrigation components and procedures to determine how much water is enough and how often it should be applied. A model system will be set up to display and help explain the parts most homeowners will need to understand. Bring questions about your irrigation system.
All residents of SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch are invited to attend. No registration. Open seating. For more information, please contact Allison Lang at 970-819-0308.
