Friends of SaddleBrooke Libraries

The SaddleBrooke Libraries – a valued community resource

Love to read, listen to audio books and watch DVDs? If so, circulation statistics at the three SaddleBrooke Libraries during the first half of 2015 show that you’re not alone. Total circulation was 33,626 items with June, usually one of the slower months at the libraries, the busiest month during the past five quarters. And paperback circulation was the highest since the first quarter of 2014.

Paperbacks are especially popular at the SaddleBrooke Library. It circulates more paperbacks than the La Cholla (at MountainView Clubhouse) and DesertView Libraries combined. Fiction accounts for approximately 76% of the circulation of cataloged items at the SaddleBrooke Library. At DesertView Library, DVDs represented 27% of its circulation during the second quarter of 2015. Circulation at the La Cholla Library, which is a self-serve facility, is steady at about 1,000 items per month.

Through the Libraries’ website,, borrowers can access an online catalog that allows them to:

All cataloged items at the Libraries are paid for by the Friends of SaddleBrooke Libraries (FSL). FSL raises funds through annual memberships, fundraising events and donations of materials and money.
