Swimming is the best activity you can do for your body and an exercise that you can do the rest of your life. Strokes have changed in the last 40 to 50 years since we took lessons. Science has identified many areas where the “old strokes” were actually hard on shoulders, neck, and the body in general. Learn the safer ways to swim in this free clinic taught by the coaches of the SaddleBrooke Swim Club. Each of the six sessions focuses on improving stroke technique and increasing conditioning in a fun, supportive environment. More than 400 SaddleBrooke residents have taken these free clinics in the past eight years! The “Let’s Swim” clinic is designed for new or returning lap swimmers who can “safely make” one length of the pool.

Contact [email protected] or [email protected] for information and to sign up! Space is limited! Pre-registration is required!

The clinic is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., Oct. 14-25 (two weeks), in the DesertView pool. Participants should plan to attend all six classes.
