A good time was had by all when six Donnas met at the first ever all-Donna dinner at the Wildflower Restaurant on Oracle Road on Wednesday, December 7. We shared stories from the past and shared how we each got our name, what personality traits we had in common and where we were each quite unique. Even the service staff was in on the party and had a blast serving the Donna table.
The food at Wildflower was simply fantastic and the service was perfect. The conversation and camaraderie was truly special among the namesakes; so much Donna power in one place at one time was unprecedented.
The idea for the all-Donna dinner started at a recent Newcomer’s luncheon where three of the 14 attendees were named Donna. That brought to mind Bernie’s Let’s Play Golf beginner course in 2015 where once again there were three Donnas participating. What active and fun people these Donnas are! The idea grew from there and now we have discovered there are about 25 Donnas who live in SaddleBrooke; so much potential for fun and frivolity. Oh, Donna!
