Let’s Go Boating has been released as a second edition! Wow, what an accomplishment for us twin adventurous cat authors.
Our fans requested this new and improved version that is better suited for 4-year-olds. This new release has the same great illustrations and storyline with fewer words. It’s a quick and inspiring read as a bedtime story. Plus a lot of water safety tips for youngsters are included.
In this second book in The Adventures of Carly & Charly series, the action begins at home where we ponder an exciting water adventure. Odd, because we are cats after all! But there’s no stopping us from breaking out of the feline stereotype. A water adventure it is—we are going boating.
The issue quickly becomes what kind of boat is best for young adventure cats. We look at paddleboards, canoes, and even an inflatable swan. Good grief. While water safety is paramount, so is fun. This adventure calls for extensive research on “Catipedia.” And we are up for the task.
Swim lessons are a must, but Carly gets catty and says she won’t go. But it is important to be safe and confident out on the water. We need to get creative to make this adventure happen. Follow along as we overcome obstacles and have a truly great boating adventure.
As in all our exploits, we face new situations confidently and bravely, because we know we’re loved and that we’re very capable and talented cats.
Let’s Go Boating is beautifully illustrated, just like our other nine books: How It All Began, Let’s Play Tennis, Let’s Play Pickleball, Let’s Try Baking, Let’s Go Horseback Riding, Let’s Try Painting, Let’s Play Soccer, Let’s Go Skateboarding, and Let’s Go Snowboarding. They’re all available at online booksellers and at the Absolutely Art Gallery in Catalina. Why not pick up one or two for your grandkids for the holidays, or for yourself?
We are very grateful. To give back, 75% of the net proceeds from this series goes to the Humane Society, where it all began.
