What a great turnout at Rebecca’s fall line dance celebration and fundraiser dance to benefit the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary of Kanab, Utah!
On October 18 Rebecca hosted a fall line dance celebration and fundraiser dance at MountainView Ballroom. Money collected was donated to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary of Kanab, Utah. Best Friends is currently operating a special spay/neuter and return project with Tucson area organizations. The project reduces the growth of feral cat colonies in the area. Best Friends works worldwide training local organizations to establish rescue, adoption and health and population control programs. Some of their most publicized efforts are coordination of all animal operations for hurricane Katrina and the rescue and rehab of the Michael Vick dogs. In addition to raising some much needed dollars, the line dancers celebrated the coming of cooler temperatures, the end of a great summer lesson series and the return of our dancing snowbird friends.
