At Resurrection Church there are Sundays throughout the year when no services are held in SaddleBrooke. That’s because the Vermilion Room at the HOA 1 Clubhouse where the services are held is being used for one of the Association’s annual holiday brunches.
Easter is one of those Sundays, so that day the SaddleBrooke congregation attended services at the main campus in Oro Valley. For those not wanting to drive, and about 60 chose not to, bus transportation was provided to the 9:15 a.m. service. Then, when the bus returned, a number attended and sat as a group at the HOA 1 brunch.
Including the Sunrise Service, there were four Easter Sunday services at the main campus. An Easter Cantata performed by the church choir was featured at the 5:00 a.m. service on Saturday, April 8. On Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, April 13 and 14, there were services at noon and 7:00 p.m. and there was an Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 15.
Resurrection Church at SaddleBrooke holds its all-denominational Sunday worship service at 10:00 a.m. in the Vermilion Room at the HOA 1 Clubhouse. All are welcome.
