POP Tennis Drop-In has started, and we have had some excellent turnouts. Many new players are enjoying POP tennis. We also have another hot racquet sport hitting the scene. It’s called Red Ball and it’s a blast to play. We have two courts for Red Ball and six for POP tennis at SaddleBrooke One.
Red Ball is played a lot like tennis, but you serve underhand and only play in the service boxes. There is a lot less court to cover, so anyone can learn and play it. The balls are slightly bigger than traditional tennis balls and softer, so play is more controlled.
We supply all the equipment for POP and Red Ball. You supply the enthusiasm and tennis shoes. Both are a must-have. Come out to the SaddleBrooke One Tennis Center court 1 pagoda and sign up. Experienced players are here to coach and explain the rules. Drop-In will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday on courts 1 through 8 and will run November through January.
