The delightful Dr. Seuss Cactus Classic was a nail-biter and we didn’t discover who would win the trophy until well into our Green Eggs and Ham luncheon.
The announcement that Deb Finn is our 2015 Cactus Classic winner came as we were enjoying our red and white striped hat cut-out cookies! Congratulations go to Deb and all flight winners: Lee Anne McClelland, representing the Cats in the Hat; Judy Fick of the Hedge Hogs, Geri Sandilands from the Sceechers; Carmela Pankey from the Loraxes; and Sylvia Kastelic, first of the Yertles. Great golf and great fun, thanks to the efforts of Marsha Camp, Ann Chatham and their many helpers.
Our 2016 Board was unanimously approved by the membership at our luncheon and we are looking forward to another great season.
Our final Ace Day was held on November 17 and on December 15 we will have our Ace of the Year event. Congratulations and best wishes to all the participants.
An exciting new Big Sister program has been developed by Nancy Huffman and her committee. Nancy explained the program to us and also introduced our three newest members, Linda Burnham, Deb Ousley and Reva Stolpe. Welcome to all!
