Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a lineage society devoted to patriotism, education, and historic preservation. Are you a descendant of a patriot? Patriots may have military, civil, or patriotic service, or be a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Members of DAR have proven they are direct descendants of a patriot who served on the side of the Colonies during the Revolutionary War. We will help you find your patriot and honor them by joining the DAR. Bring what you know about your lineage and family history and the name of a patriot if you know of one.
