SaddleBrooke resident members of Why Not Dance participated in a Dance Expo held recently at the MountainView Ballroom dance floor.
Trudy Varga participated in International and American style ballroom dances with Miro Tomosiak. Linda Rosenkrans and Walt Teike partnered in American smooth and rhythm dances.
The Expo was an all day program attended by ballroom enthusiasts from the greater Tucson area and a few dancers from Phoenix. It was organized by Studio West School of Dance to provide feedback to the dancers of their strengths and weaknesses. It was not a contest. It sure was a fun day for all of the participants and they look forward to the Fall Expo in August.
Why Not Dance is open to all SaddleBrooke residents to practice ballroom dance techniques on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. Individual or small group instruction can be provided if needed.
