March 12 was another beautiful day in SaddleBrooke for a bike ride to our destination breakfast at Pat and Bruce Somerhalder’s home. 35 members rode their bikes on different routes and all met up for the breakfast. A special presentation of Bruce’s Railroad exhibit, which featured five different trains with homemade trestles, tunnels, buildings and rivers, made this a very interesting and fun breakfast. We also had an Easter egg hunt looking for the colored plastic eggs in their yard. There were six winning eggs that had a commemorative St. Patrick’s Day pin inside. The lucky finders of these special eggs received gift cards for Panera Bread.
