The SaddleBrooke Cyclemasters bicycle club continues to keep our roads clean and free of debris. We picked up trash on March 29 from the Taco Shack (if you are familiar with where that is) to the intersection of SaddleBrooke Boulevard and Oracle Road. Teams are formed of four people and are assigned a section of the road. The activity takes about an hour and a half. You may have seen large orange bags along SaddleBrooke Boulevard. As has been reported many times, Cyclemasters members volunteer their time twice a year in an effort to pick up debris along the entrance roads to our community. The Cyclemasters club has been doing this cleanup project for many years, and our March 29 event was no different. Yes, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, construction trash, and old clothes can be seen along SaddleBrooke Boulevard. One of our volunteers even uncovered a rattlesnake this time, hiding under some sheet metal signs. We wear reflective vests, use grabber tools, and keep a keen eye out for hazards along the way. Thank you, Don and Debbie Grafmiller, and all the team for doing a fine job once again.
