Cooks Out of the Kitchen

Judi Friedman and Jerry Lankin

In May, 2023, your Cooks came up with the idea to review local restaurants and share our thoughts with the SaddleBrooke community. Since then, we have reviewed 50 restaurants, from high-end eateries to food trucks! We’ve had some amazing gastronomic experiences and have really enjoyed our adventures as restaurant critics. Friends often asked us what was next, or were anxious to share some of their favorites for us to check out. Some restaurants totally surprised us with their offerings that were as delicious as they were unusual, some because they were so comfortable, and some because they were known local favorites. We went to breakfast spots, exotic places, lunch restaurants, happy hours, amazing diners, and a fantastic food truck! As you may have guessed, it’s time to “take off our aprons,” turn off our computers, and retire our critiquing of eateries in the Tucson and SaddleBrooke areas. Below is a list of all the restaurants we visited and reviewed. We have put our very, very favorite restaurants in all caps for your enjoyment.
