The big game is taking on a new feature in SaddleBrooke this year with Souper Bowl I at Community Church on Sunday morning, February 1. The SaddleBrooke Community is invited to join our church family to catch the spirit of the big day by reaching out to those in need. Everyone is asked to bring a six-pack (or more) of soup which will be donated to local food banks. Volunteers will be at the doors to collect your cans of soup.

Our featured speaker will be Steve Wilson who is not only a team pastor at Community Church but a 15 year veteran official in the NFL. In addition, he spent 18 years officiating in college football and currently does evaluation of officials for the PAC 12. This retired NFL Umpire, who is a resident of SaddleBrooke, will turn our super into soup and help us appreciate the commitment which must flow from our blessings.

The pre-game festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. in the DesertView Theatre where the Community Church congregation worships each Sunday. Everyone is invited to attend and to even wear their favorite college or professional colors that day. We promise it will be a service which will prepare you for the biggest game in your life. We look forward to seeing you there!
