A wonderful benefit of being retired and living in beautiful SaddleBrooke is that people have more time to reflect on their spiritual values and faith. Many people have come to Community Church and have seen their faith so renewed that they want to make a statement to their family and friends.
The result is that Community Church at SaddleBrooke celebrated a baptismal service at the home of Aaron and Mary Gettel on Sunday, June 14. Pastor Ron Gannett baptized each of the nine participants who were honored by friends reading to them a favorite Bible verse to encourage them on their spiritual journey. There were 54 supporters in attendance that lingered over refreshments to celebrate this special event in the lives of the baptismal candidates. It was a day that will be cherished in the hearts of all who attended.
Community Church at SaddleBrooke meets every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the DesertView Theatre. We are a church of Grace and all are welcome.
