SaddleBrooke One will be hosting the winter session of our “Coffee with a Cop” series on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Agave Lounge of the SaddleBrooke One Clubhouse.

Mark your calendars now for what promises to be a very informative session with deputies form the Pinal County Sheriff’s Department and members of the volunteer Cops Posse. This is a great opportunity to come and ask questions of the professionals who provide law enforcement services to SaddleBrooke.

The event is co-sponsored by the SaddleBrooke One and Two Patrols, with support from the SaddleBrooke Public Affairs Commission. Our intention is to hold two coffees a year. A summer coffee, arranged by SaddleBrooke TWO Patrol was held in July in the Mesquite Room of SaddleBrooke TWO. The upcoming January session arrangements are being handled by SaddleBrooke One. If there is sufficient interest, we hope to continue these events twice a year.

If our summer event was any indicator, the Sheriff’s department commits a lot of resources to the coffees. We would like to get a good turnout of residents to let them know we are interested and appreciative of the services they provide.

So, grab your neighbors and plan to attend this excellent event. Not only will you learn a lot, but you will get a free cup of coffee and perhaps an opportunity to join one of the department’s volunteer units!
