Christmas Came Early at SaddleBrooke Ceramics Club

The SaddleBrooke Ceramics Club (SCC) has once again proven that creativity, community, and a little holiday spirit can create magic. Last year, in a heartwarming collaboration with the SaddleBrooke Rotary Club, SCC donated unpainted ceramic Christmas ornaments for an event aimed at bringing joy to the children of Oracle. Little did we know, this small act of kindness would spark lasting memories and unbridled creativity.

When we heard about the overwhelming response after the event and the disappointment of the children who missed out on the fun, it became clear just how impactful this activity had been. SCC didn’t just provide ornaments. We provided an opportunity for these young artists to explore, imagine, and create.

The demand for more inspired our talented and dedicated members to come together to create some early (mid-July) Christmas cheer, crafting more than 300 unpainted ceramic ornaments for children supported by the Rotary Club, IMPACT, and Lifepoint Church.

The joy of giving wasn’t limited to our club members. Volunteers from all three organizations rolled up their sleeves and joined in the fun, helping to create a wonderful variety of ornaments that are sure to bring smiles to many young faces this holiday season. This heartwarming collaboration truly captured the spirit of giving, teamwork, and creativity!

Co-President Ann Marie Kissel had this to say: “It’s amazing what can be achieved when people come together for a great cause, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone who participated. A huge thank you to all our volunteers and partners for making this early Christmas collaboration such a success!” We can’t wait to build on this success and continue spreading holiday cheer and creativity for many more years to come.
