On Friday, July 21, the Mission Committee from Community Church at SaddleBrooke (CCSB) visited the Arizona Fisher House in Tucson. CCSB is an ongoing supporter of the Arizona Fisher House.

The purpose of the home is to provide temporary lodging for family members of our veterans and Armed Forces during a medical crisis. This new facility, adjacent to the VA hospital, offers a warm compassionate environment where families find support and encouragement from others in similar circumstances. It is considered to be a home away from home and provides a sense of comfort while a loved veteran is undergoing medical treatment.

More information about the Arizona Fisher House (AZFH) and how to donate can be found at www.arizonafisherhouse.org. The Community Church at SaddleBrooke is an all-denominational Christian Church and all are welcome. We meet every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the DesertView Theater and more information can be found at www.ccsb.us.
