Be a part of SaddleBrooke’s new theater group’s first play Eat, Drink, and Be Deadly! Community Circle Players, the successor to PrimeTime Players, will feed, entertain and even get the audience involved in their production this February. The four performances of the dinner theater mystery are Sunday and Monday nights, February 19 and 20, 2017, in HOA2’s MountainView Ballroom and Sunday and Monday nights, February 26 and 27, in HOA1’s Vistas Dining Room. Dinner will be included in the ticket price ($49 per person) for the new Community Circle Players’ shows.

Tickets and Menu: Tickets, which go on sale January 4 at both venues, include a hot chicken entrée, salad, starch, rolls and butter, vegetable, dessert and of course, a very entertaining evening performance!

Synopsis: Eat, Drink and Be Deadly! is a whodunit – “Who has done it?” – about a wealthy wine connoisseur found dead. Was it an overdose or a sinister act? Who wanted him out of his vineyards in France? What harm had he caused? This not serious mystery takes place in one act with four hilarious scenes of pointing fingers and fainting. To further complicate the proceedings, much wine has been consumed by the likes of Marla Merlot, Ken Chianti and Charlotte Chardonnay.

Those in attendance will have a chance to see and hear all the clues and then decide how Pierre Pinot Noir met his fate. Audience members who correctly guess (1) who-dun-it and (2) the motive, will get a prize. All will be revealed in the final scene.

Director Shawne Cryderman says doors will open with a cash bar at 5:00 p.m. with dinner and show starting at 6:00 p.m. Accusation slips will be gathered during dessert, prior to the final scene, then votes will be tallied and prizes awarded.
