Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge Project Chairperson Joyce Garcia and Robert Hurt delivered $900 worth of playground equipment and $600 in gift certificates for art supplies to Roadrunner Elementary School in the Marana Unified School District. The teachers will purchase art supplies at Walmart with the gift certificates. The equipment delivered to the school included soccer balls, basketballs, tetherballs, a variety of different sized balls, soccer goals and hula hoops.

Funds from an Elks National Foundation Grant and generous donations from members of Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge made this gift possible. “The continued support from the Elks Lodge has meant the world to our students, faculty and community,” said Roadrunner School Principal Kristina Brewer.
