On Aug. 9 Catalina Mountain Elks held their annual luncheon for the paralyzed veteran athletes who just came back from competing in the games in Minneapolis, Minn. Each current athlete was given $1,250, for a total of $3,750, to help offset their costs for competition. They enjoyed lunch while Elks members enjoyed hearing about the games and the medals they won.
