Can You Count to 4?

Kathy Sinnott

What is your fave rock song where the lead singer shouts off a ‘4/4 beat count?’ Mine has got to be Springsteen’s Born To Run at 3:03 minutes into the song! Well, rockers, get ready to experience the Rockin’ 4 Heroes 4/4 beat count this year, which gives new meaning to the number ‘4’ throughout Arizona!

Rockin’ 4 Heroes pays tribute to 4 heroic groups: First Responders, Active Military, Veterans, and Gold Star families every day of the year. Their annual free concert occurs for the 4th time on Nov. 10 at the James D. Kriegh Park in Oro Valley. The Lexington Lab Band is the headliner, set to rock the house with iconic classic rock tunes. However, Rockin’ 4 Heroes is more than a concert event.

This nonprofit organization contributes to initiatives that support these 4 heroic groups year round. This all-volunteer staff seeks to increase its fundraising, as 99% of every dollar serves these 4 groups. Your contributions greatly help achieve our mission. The ‘Hero Fund’ recently developed the ‘Jacob Dindinger Scholarship’ for Pima Community College’s EMT Program. We aspire to do even more!

You’re invited to attend our signature concert to honor our heroes who selflessly provide for our freedoms. Your participation helps in paying tribute to, and generating awareness of, these 4 amazing groups of heroes. Please join us on Sunday, Nov. 10, as we count off to the 4/4 beat and get lost in some classic rock and roll!
