It was a trip down memory lane when 16 members of the British Club met at the DesertView Performing Arts Center here in SaddleBrooke on April 30 at 6:30 p.m. for a brilliant performance at 7 p.m. of Britain’s Finest.
The tribute band did not let us down, playing those wonderful songs “Yesterday,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Please, Please Me,” and “Imagine,” to name a few—songs we all remember by the “Fab Four,” The Beatles!
Audience participation was encouraged, and all had no hesitation joining in the fun, singing those truly iconic songs. Of course, there was a standing ovation at the end of the show, bringing back the lads from Liverpool with the finale, “Hey Jude”!
Everyone agreed it was a wonderful experience reliving our younger days, and they thanked Ethel Willmot for organizing a great event for the British Club.
