British Club at Cadillac Chaparral Steakhouse

John Wayne, the Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, Tom Mix, et al., deck the halls with their pictures, along with other western memorabilia, at Cadillac Chaparral Steakhouse, just outside Tucson on the Florence Highway, just 20 minutes’ drive from SaddleBrooke.
It was here on Jan. 22 at 5 p.m. that 22 members of the British Club met for a delightful western evening. As they looked around, they were reminded of their younger days living in Britain watching those grand, old, nostalgic cowboy movies at the matinees or on TV. They feasted on delicious choices of steaks, baby back ribs, chicken, shrimp, catfish, cowboy beans, baked potatoes with all the fixings, and fresh salad, etc. Enjoying the camaraderie of fellow members, they all agreed it was a very enjoyable way to spend an evening.
Everyone thanked Helen Amelsberg and Nigel Hawkins and other members of Helen’s Social Committee for organizing this fun event.

Membership is open to any person who was born in Britain or The Commonwealth or holds or has previously held a British passport and is a current homeowner of SaddleBrooke One, SaddleBrooke TWO, or SaddleBrooke Ranch. The member’s spouse or partner may be of any national origin.
