British Car Club

Russ Van Tine

Do you own a British car? Maybe an MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Mini, Austin Healey, Range Rover, etc.? It does not have to be an antique! It can be a modern “LBC” (Little British Car) with air conditioning even … LOL! We also like other classic European cars (Fiat, Porsche, etc.). The group even has a Ford Thunderbird!

Come join us for breakfast and an occasional “caravan.” We like to get together occasionally to “kick the tires” and share repair ideas and advice. Spouses/partners are also welcome, of course. Sharing advice is a great way to get help repairing that difficult item in your car. It is what we enjoy.

Some of us met at a recent car show, and a few of us thought it would be a good idea to form a club. As of this writing, we have 22 members. If you love your British car and would like to get together with like-minded folks here at SaddleBrooke, let us know.

We are developing some get-togethers, and so far, we meet every second Tuesday of the month to “caravan” for breakfast. This may change as members’ personal schedules change, and we will keep everyone notified.

We are also planning on attending some car shows as they are announced during the year, as well as a few dinner dates and also some caravans to scenic spots within driving distance.

One email you can use to contact us is [email protected]. Send your name, phone number, email, address, and type of car, and we will happily include you in our get-togethers.

Hope to see you soon!
