Attorney General Kris Mayes
Karla Trippe
The SaddleBrooke Democratic Club (SBDC) has engaged Attorney General Kris Mayes to speak about “Leading for the People.” Mayes is one of Arizona’s strongest consumer advocates and an attorney who has distinguished herself as a fighter for the people in a lifetime of public service. Her office has safeguarded $1.5 billion in federal funds through the 25 lawsuits she has filed against the Trump administration.
The dinner is the largest fundraiser on SBDC’s calendar. All funds are used to help candidates running for state offices.
The dinner will be held Feb. 1, 2026, at the MountainView ballroom located at 38759 S. Mountain View Blvd. in SaddleBrooke. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., appetizers begin at 5 p.m., and dinner is served at 6 p.m. The keynote speaker starts at 6:45 p.m. Dinner choices include passion fruit grilled salmon, peppercorn tenderloin, or roasted portobello tower. The price for this year’s dinner is $88 per person, which includes appetizers, plated dinner, dessert, and donation to the club for the 2026 campaign.
Early purchase for club members will begin around Oct. 14, with reservations available to the public approximately Oct. 22. To join the club and get early access to tickets, visit www.saddlebrookedemocrats.org/join-us. The club expects to sell out the 300 seats for the dinner. Reservations will end Jan. 11, 2026.
The SBDC is excited to present this dynamic speaker to the SaddleBrooke community.
