The word is out. Arizona Trail work parties are fun! A total of 27 volunteers attended the work party on Feb. 19 in Oracle State Park. Eighteen members of the SaddleBrooke Hiking Club participated in clearing the Arizona Trail of sticker bushes and improving several trail drainages. Temperatures were cool, the workers were enthusiastic, and three miles of the Arizona Trail was improved! A highlight for all the volunteers were the delicious treats provided by Elaine Fagan, Linda Barbour, Elisabeth Wheeler, and Elissa Cochran. Work leaders were Zach MacDonald, Gary Faulkenberry, Ray Peale, and Elisabeth Wheeler.
