The SaddleBrooke Paper Crafters recently held a Valentine’s Fun Shop, coordinated by Marlene D’Ambrosio. A Fun Shop is a dedicated workshop, usually held once a month, apart from our monthly meetings, to learn new or unusual techniques with a limited number of participants. The instructors, Ann LaPerre and Roberta Hafvenstein, guided the club members in using embossing folders and a napkin card technique to make their cards. Our Paper Crafter’s club is in its 24th year of learning, creating, and comradery, meeting the second Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. for conversation, and the meeting starts at 1 p.m. in Classroom 4, across from the Gift Shop. With more than 50 members, whether you are new to paper crafts or a seasoned crafter, all skill levels are welcome. For more information, contact Carol Thompson at [email protected] or 520-400-9775.
