Always Something New to Learn

Although a number of our members have left for cooler climes, the hardcore desert rats are still meeting every Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. in Room 4 of the HOA craft area to ply the needles and hooks.

In May, Linda Hood started a class on how to knit a blended shawl. By the end of May, the class participants were well on their way to creating a unique article of clothing. The colors, textures, and designs are as varied as the creators. By next month, we should have a stunning display of the work.

If you have basic knitting or crocheting skills and are wondering what to do with yourself when it’s too hot to do much of anything, consider joining us for conversation and creation. If you have questions, please call Bin Davis at 520-820-4800.
