Always Busy and Embracing Life

Women On Our Own (WOOO) welcomes in a new year never missing a beat. A review of our membership and the year 2025 in the rearview mirror reflects ups and downs, joys and sorrows, wonder and dismay, challenges and victories. Medical diagnoses met head on, death of loved ones, births of new generations, travel to new destinations, and lands revisited. We said hello to new members and new friends and goodbye to loved ones.

WOOO in SaddleBrooke remains a place where single women who are not in a committed relationship find activities and events to keep them as engaged as they choose to be. The following activities and events are offered throughout each week and month to our membership:

Games: Bridge on the first and third Friday, Game Day (bring your own game) on the second and fourth Sunday, Mexican Train on Mondays, Progressive Hand & Foot on the first and third Monday, Mah Jongg on the second and fourth Thursday, Scrabble on Saturdays

Dining: Ethic Lunch on Fridays, Happy Hour on the first Saturday, Dine Out near SaddleBrooke on the second Saturday, Dine Around on the third Saturday, Potluck on the fourth Saturday, Holiday Dinners and Wine Tasting on various days

Other: Beginners Pickleball at various days/times, Book Club on the fourth Friday, Cornhole at various times, Day Trips at various times/places, Walkers at various times/places

New Event: Bird(ing) Watching

WOOO members are encouraged to begin activities that they may have an interest in, as there are probably others in our membership of 160 women who share that interest.

Membership dues are $10 per year. For more information or to receive a membership form, please contact our president Debbie Flato at 520-818-2904 or deblynne50@gmail.com.
