Join us in the celebration of the Town of Oro Valley’s 50th Golden Anniversary at the local Rotary Club’s 9th Annual A Taste of Oro Valley Life fundraising event on Saturday, March 30, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Oro Valley Marketplace.
The Rotary Club of Oro Valley’s mission is to benefit our local and international communities by working together in service, trust, and friendship. The theme of this year’s fundraiser is Helping Families, and the primary beneficiaries of the proceeds include Edge High School, Emerge, IMPACT of Southern Arizona, and the Oro Valley Rotary Foundation. These nonprofit organizations address critical issues that families face, such as high school dropout rates, domestic abuse, and stabilizing families and seniors.
This year’s A Taste of Oro Valley Life fundraising event is also in honor of Oro Valley’s 50 years as a community! “We are excited to be celebrating Oro Valley’s first 50 years with this wonderful fundraising event that brings our beautiful community together to help families in need,” said Linda Stratton, president of the Rotary Club of Oro Valley.
“The Rotary Club of Oro Valley has been an integral part of our history by serving our community and enriching people’s lives,” said Mayor Joe Winfield. “We are excited that our Rotary Club is honoring our town’s 50th anniversary with its A Taste of Oro Valley Life celebration.”
