Church people are great cooks! This statement was certainly proven once again when more than 50 folks from Resurrection at SaddleBrooke gathered for a late summer potluck dinner at HOA1’s activity center on August 23.
SaddleBrooke’s new church is not quite two years old, yet its tradition of good cooks is already strong. Three long tables were piled with salads, fruit, hot dishes and more. Another table was laden with a wide variety of desserts. No one left hungry!
This potluck dinner gave us another opportunity to become better acquainted with one another as a church family. Cottage meetings and patio parties have also taken place over the summer months. All were designed to help those who attend Resurrection at SaddleBrooke and our ministers learn more about one another.
Each Sunday new people discover the worship opportunities with Resurrection. Ours is a multi-denominational church where you’ll feel warmly welcome regardless of where you are in your faith journey. We’re becoming affectionately known as “that happy church” and it is true. You’ll find lots of hugs and smiles among this caring and sharing group of Christians.
Resurrection at SaddleBrooke holds Sunday services in the Vermilion Room at HOA1 each week. In October Resurrection will return to two services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. to accommodate our returning snowbirds. We welcome you to join us at one of our upcoming Sunday services.
