As the year 2013 comes to a close, the Make A Difference program of SaddleBrooke Community Outreach received many generous contributions, acknowledging friends and families as a way of giving thanks and recognition to others during the holiday seasons.
Giving doesn’t stop there! The several thousand children who receive support from SBCO programs are in need all year long. Our service area is 100 miles long in three counties often referred to as an area of chronic poverty. In Arizona 16% of our children live in these areas and in Mammoth alone almost every child is eligible for the Federal free or reduced lunch program.
We invite you to continue your support of our kids as the year 2014 begins. Contributions in any amount are applied, 100%, to our programs of Kids’ Closet which provides school wardrobes to tutoring which helps prepare youngsters for high school graduation, for scholarships that encourage these young people to go on to college, for support of enrichment programs that focus on education and safety and to the Tri Community Food Bank in Mammoth which serves so many of these families.
Why not remember a special person on Valentine’s Day with a donation to the Make A Difference program? It has fewer calories than a box of chocolate and will provide broad smiles to needy children long after the champagne is gone.
Your donations can be mailed to SBCO at 63657E. SaddleBrooke Boulevard, Suite L, Tucson, Arizona 85739 or hand delivered Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m. Mark them for MAD!
We are a 501(c)(3) organization, eligible for tax deductions and we are 100% volunteer. That means we use all of your gifts to help our kids.
