This year’s Health Fair will be held at the SaddleBrooke One Clubhouse on Saturday morning, October 18. It provides a convenient opportunity to learn about medical and health services in the area.
Many SaddleBrooke residents like to take advantage of the many free screenings such as skin cancer, vision, glaucoma, blood pressure, blood sugar and more.
Residents can also schedule lab tests at reasonable prices and have flu, pneumonia and shingles vaccines.
There will be an easy drop off for expired medications and old eye glasses. Two major hospital systems will be present and representatives from many senior services in the area plus an interesting array of alternative therapies.
This popular event depends on willing volunteers to work a short 90 minute shift the morning of the fair. Tasks include set up, take down, providing information and assistance, directing traffic and conducting surveys.
