Unit 3 South
Frank Strubel
July fourth is always a party day – so John and Barbara Fortino used the evening to invite everyone to their lovely backyard to celebrate Independence Day. About 45 people attended the ice cream social and neighbors brought cookies, red, white and blue cupcakes and chocolate fudge brownies. Hmmm – really good. The Fortino’s patio, next to the eighth hole on the Tucson golf links, had a great view of the HOA 1 fireworks to top off the evening and we had a chance to catch up on people’s travel plans, new pets and make new friendships. This is the essence of the July fourth holiday.
July fourth brings luck to some. The question is, however, who took home the extra leftover cookies and cupcakes? Hmmm?
