On Sept. 15, under beautiful skies and with temperatures just right– not too hot and certainly not too humid– 40 golfers from SaddleBrooke Women’s Golf Association (SBWGA)–18ers joined 29 members of the SB Niners to celebrate the end of summer at the annual Lagos Tournament. More than just a day on the course, this beloved event celebrates the warm friendship and camaraderie shared by our two leagues. With a fun–filled Scramble format, plenty of Mulligans, Magic Putts, and even a few “Get Out of Hazards Free” opportunities, there was plenty of room for laughter and very little room for pressure! Nine holes, lots of smiles, and great company made for a memorable day of golf and the perfect opportunity to strengthen old friendships and create new ones that will last well beyond the final putt. And, of course, a wonderful luncheon followed play.
