Oracle Historical Society Speaker Event: Catesby Suter presents “Caring for Iris and Other Bulbs” on March 16 at 10 a.m. at the Oro Valley Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive, Oro Valley.
Catesby Suter has long been interested in plants and earned her Master of Science degree in botany. This class will touch briefly on the history of iris cultivation, planting techniques, preparing and feeding the soil, tips on dividing bulbs, and examples of flowering bulbs that will grow in our region.
