On Jan. 14 two members of MPLNiners from SaddleBrooke presented a check to their chosen charity, Beads of Courage, from a Christmas event in December. Beads of Courage is a nonprofit organization, and since 2005, it has over 300 collaborative partnerships.

While we were there, a tour of the facility was conducted. This is a unique program that uses the art form of beads to honor the courage of infants, children, youth, and their families coping with serious illness and treatment experiences to start the participant receiving their first name in beads.

Their story unfolds as they continue to add beads to the collection. The beads collected represent a story of strength and courage. The programs are possible through the generous support of our donors.

Be part of the Beads of Courage journey and help us give more children a chance to Record, Tell, and Own their stories of Courage. Learn more at www.BeadsofCourage.org.
