Cornhole league play restarted on Oct. 20, with league play through Nov. 24. The Competitive League saw 10 teams vying against each other, with congratulations to team The Hole Enchilada (Dave Henry and Ray Sullivan) who pulled off a perfect record of 30-0! The Luk-Zels (Gary Zellinger and Chuck Lukritz) placed second, with Best Baggers (Al Geelhaar and Mark Erwin) placing third. On the Social League side, nine teams competed with The Flyers (Hector Munoz, Frank Powell, and Al Weigel) taking first, followed by the Canasta Orphans (Roger and Dede Beard, Greg and Carla DeWolf, and Joan Brookhart) and the Sandbaggers (Kathy Schuler, Deb Harmon, and Larry Loots).
The league’s new season started Dec. 1 and finished on Feb. 2 for the Competitive League, with 12 teams playing, and on Jan. 26 for the Social League. The Social League starts at 3 p.m., and the Competitive League starts at 5 p.m. Please stop by to watch and potentially be a substitute player!
