Mike Sachse on the keyboard and Mike Maxwell on the guitar carried on the tradition of homespun tunes on Aug. 30 on a driveway in SaddleBrooke One Unit 11.
The last Saturday in August is officially known as Play Music on the Porch Day. It started as an idea to promote peace in our troubled world. “What if one day everything stopped and we all just listened to the music?” The two Mikes were proud to keep the music going in honor of retired Dick and Lavonne Ashwood who had been entertaining folks in their cul-de-sac in SaddleBrooke on this date for the past six years.
