Interested in growing roses? Not sure about their care? Do you wonder what roses are best for our region?
Terry Swartz, a native Tucsonan and expert from the Tucson Rose Society, will be joining us to discuss everything roses. His presentation will include a brief history of roses, along with information about pruning, fertilizing, and general care for roses in the desert southwest. A recommended rose list, as well as monthly care tips, will be available. Bring your questions. We hope you can make it.
Terry became a member of the Rose Society of Tucson in 1995 and a member of the American Rose Society soon afterward. He is currently a Consulting Rosarian, a Rose Horticulture Judge, and a Rose Arrangement Judge.
