There is something in the water (or is it the beer) in Bob Ogle’s Wednesday group. Even though most of the players are low indexes, there is still something strange about the last two rounds this group has played. On Wednesday, Aug. 20, Dennis Marchand and Don Plapinger both aced hole 11 at The Preserve.
Now, the odds of that happening within one group are astounding. So, how do you follow that up? Well, the very next Wednesday, Aug. 27, Bob Ogle dropped in his seventh hole-in-one. This also happened on The Preserve hole 11. Playing partners Tom Fitzgerald, Dennis Marchand, and Matt Kambic were there to witness this continued string of aces from his Wednesday players. Needless to say, the beer is flowing and continues to flow with that group.
Congratulations to Bob, and here’s to more aces and beer for the Wednesday group!
