The many numbered balls rolled and bounced in their cage: Legs eleven, number 11; Knock at the Door, number 4; Dancing Queen, number 17; and many more bingo nicknames and numbers were called out by Nigel Hawkins, the bingo caller and announcer for the British Club Bingo and Ice Cream Social. Bingo players waited in anticipation to mark their numbers off on their cards to see if they may be a lucky winner of one of the delightful prizes. As usual, a fun time was had by all playing bingo and enjoying the camaraderie of members and friends on Aug. 13 at the SaddleBrooke One Activities Center.
Bingo players feasted on a delectable selection of ice cream: vanilla, chocolate, and Neapolitan, with a selection of scrumptious sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and strawberry compote, all served up in a sweet, edible, wafer bowl. Freshly brewed coffee percolated in the background to be served with cream and sugar. Everyone brought their beverage of choice if preferred.
Everyone thanked Ethel Willmot and her Social Committee for their hard work organizing and making this event so special.

Membership is open to any person who was born in Britain or The Commonwealth or holds or has previously held a British passport and is a current homeowner of SaddleBrooke One, SaddleBrooke TWO, or SaddleBrooke Ranch. The member’s spouse or partner may be of any national origin.
