Our big news is that we officially changed our name. By unanimous vote at our June 10 general meeting, our organization is now the SaddleBrooke Lady Niners.
Kudos to our Social Committee who organized a delicious luncheon buffet and great table décor for our June meeting: Co-chairs Kathy Coffman and Sharon Marchione and their committee members Linda Kaprosy, Karen Fischer, and Randi Tonnessen.
The step-aside scramble winners on June 10 follow: 1st Place: Kathy Coffman, Barbro Sultan, and Susan Goebel; 2nd Place: Carolyn Ford, Linda Kaprosy, Barbara Starrett, and Linda Osterli; 3rd Place: Diane Mazzarella, Karen Vander Jagt, Nancy Wyllie, and Joanie Broder.
Players are looking forward to Niners Unite set for July 15. This 9-hole tournament will be hosted by the SaddleBrooke Lady Niners. This is a fun time, with a mix of members from both leagues and an opportunity to have some competition and laughs with our neighbors.
The LAGOS event is on Tuesday, Sept. 16. This annual event will be hosted by SBWGA-18 and is always a fun time. Details will be available soon.
