In March, the Tucson Festival of Books was our premiere annual book event in Tucson, drawing authors representing all genres and books for all ages. Whether you braved the crowds or stayed home, the SaddleBrooke Community Libraries have books by some of these featured authors for you to read!
If regional mysteries interest you, William Kent Krueger places you in the Midwest. Craig Johnson takes you to Wyoming. Paige Shelton’s novels can take you to Scotland or Alaska. J. A. Jance visits Sedona, the Pacific Northwest, and Southern Arizona. Becky Masterman keeps you local in Tucson and even SaddleBrooke! Follow PI Elvis Cole and his volatile sidekick Joe Pike through California in books by Robert Crais. Anne Hillerman and Ramona Emerson take you into the Navajo Nation.
Spies, crimes, and thrillers are handled by these authors. T. J. Newman puts us in impossible situations—will you survive? Tess Gerritsen and Thomas Perry show that spies never seem to leave the game or lose their skills. Don Winslow tracks crime and crime families through a series of books that challenge the reader’s sympathies and beliefs. Megan Miranda mysteries have twists.
